Don't let the name fool you - we enjoy getting out to different parts of the Northwest,
not just our little piece of paradise near Spokane. The trails and climbs on the
west side of the state are usually pretty busy but not so much so that we'd pass
em up when given the opportunity. Teri enjoys biking so we have a few of her biking
trips on here. The kids would rather eat a bug than wander down a trail but we're
always looking for some of their activities to throw on here as well - video games,
crafts and lurking at the mall don't seem to fit the theme though. |

Day 1 - Trailhead to Baron Lake
Teri and I left Spokane after work on Tuesday and made it as far as McCall Idaho, where we stayed the night in a hotel. The next day, we finished the drive to the Grandjean Trailhead and started down the trail about 10.
